Flax

Brown flax is grown for the production of flax fiber and raw materials for fabrics, as well as for the production of vegetable oil. It is also used in pharmacology-the oil, which is extracted from flax seeds, is useful and contains phytosterols, selenium, a complex of vitamins and Omega-3 fatty acids.

White (golden, yellow) flax is a specially cultivated plant that requires a special approach to cultivation. This is a representative of the oilseed grain culture, from the seeds of which oil is obtained by cold pressing. It has powerful pharmacological properties, as a medicinal raw material used flax seed, which is collected during full maturity. Flax seed is also used to make linen flour, which is widely used in cooking.
